In this fifth edition, Dr Jean Monro explains the impact of a TH1 to TH2 shift is explained in terms of how this condition leads to a severe weakening of the immune system and how with Coriolus supplementation a practitioner can reverse this shift by increasing NK cell activity. Additionally, Marijke Pfeiffer demonstrates in HIV clinical cases how Coriolus supplementation can increase CD4 levels and decrease viral load in these patients; thereby laying the foundation for the use of mushroom nutrition in viral infection. .
